OBJECTIVES

The SRA Accounts Rules regarding the role of the reporting accountant have recently been amended to a ‘risk based’ approach to carrying out both the work and reporting. These changes will affect year ends on or after 1 November 2015. The purpose of this session is to

  • Ensure that partners and staff are fully up to date and refreshed on the SRA Accounts Rules themselves;
  • Look at the implications for testing and reporting under this risk based approach
WHO SHOULD ATTEND?

All partners and staff who have a reasonable knowledge of the rules and need to ensure they are confident of recognising the risk areas and reporting appropriately. The seminar will use case studies to highlight key issues.
