OBJECTIVES

Many companies will now be preparing their third sets of financial statements in accordance with either FRS 101 or FRS 102 – but are they being prepared correctly? This course will look at some of the common blunders that are being made by preparers and missed by auditors.

Evidence of accounting blunders under FRS 101 and FRS 102
Evidence of presentational blunders under FRS 101 and FRS 102
Evidence of disclosure blunders under FRS 101 and FRS 102

Where possible, blunders will be illustrated by looking at filed accounts purporting to comply with FRS 101 or FRS 102.
